Minnetonka

 

Sitting eight miles west of Minneapolis is the bustling city of Minnetonka. It shares its name with the lake it borders and was first established in 1852 when a settlement was built at the current Minnetonka Mills site. Shady Oak Beach and the recreational area offer 85 acres of multi-use land. There are 76 feet of sandy beaches and spring-fed waters to enjoy, playground areas, concessions, water sports rentals, and more.
