Welcome to Plymouth
A bustling suburb of Minneapolis.
Located roughly 15 miles west of Minneapolis is the seventh-largest city in Minnesota. The bustling suburb of Plymouth is a lovely area with many excellent neighborhoods with various parks, trails, restaurants, and shopping options. The first inhabitants of Plymouth were the Dakota, whose encampment was at the north end of Medicine Lake. The Lake, named after “Mdewakan,” or “Lake of the Spirit,” provides many benefits to the surrounding communities. The town was established in 1855 when various structures, including a gristmill, were built.
Plymouth has seen extensive growth over the past decade, with an expanded population thanks to plenty of natural resources and land in the area. Many neighborhoods offer newer homes and amenities, like parks, pools, trails, and shopping. You’ll find developed communities with gorgeous Craftsman-style homes, expansive lots, and custom landscaping. Many older, traditional-style homes are situated on larger lots or upscale townhomes and condominiums. Many neighborhoods offer access to luxury amenities, golf clubs, country clubs, parks, and convenience for shopping and dining.
