Shorewood has no shortage of exciting events and attractions in store. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum boasts 1,137 beautiful acres of gardens, walking paths, and sculptures that are sure to impress nature lovers. 

Every year in the third week of January, the Arctic Fever celebration is a must-see, with cookie decorating, snowshoeing, ice carving, Arctic bowling, carriage and dog sled rides, and more at the Shorewood Community & Event Center, Manitou Park, Excelsior Library, and Freeman Park.

During the summer, locals flock to Freeman Park to relax to tunes and enjoy the Music in the Park and Movies in the Park series. The fresh produce and artisan vendors at the Excelsior Farmers' Market at 230 West Drive are also popular this time of year. Plus, don’t miss the parade, firecrackers, live music, and shimmering fireworks show during Excelsior’s 4th of July Celebration near the Excelsior Library
